THE DESIRE TO LOVE MYSELF
expanded
BY ROBYN MICHELLE
I’m an average girl who has been through some crap and decided to write about it. It’s honest and real and I hope you find it relatable. Most importantly I hope you find it encouraging. After looking for love in all the wrong places, and finding it, not once, but twice, I finally realized true love can be found by looking within, and at the age of 45 I started loving myself.
The Desire To Love Myself is a compilation of the lessons I learned through the struggle, pain, and years of heartache and realizing through it all, self-love, self care and putting yourself first is not selfish. It’s the greatest gift we can give to ourselves.
My hope is that you close the final chapter of this book ready to begin the next chapter of yours encouraged and with a boost of confidence, ready to pour love into yourself and knowing you can be the most resilient person you know.

TABLE FOR ONE, PLEASE
BY ROBYN MICHELLE
For too long, many of us have been told that our worth is measured by who we’re with, what we’re doing, or how well we fit the mold of expectations. What if your greatest power lies not in waiting for someone else to complete you, but in fully embracing who and where you already are?
Table for One, Please is an honest, heartfelt guide to living unapologetically in the season you’re in. With warmth and humor, you are invited to discover the beauty of solitude, the strength in independence, and the freedom that comes when you stop waiting for “someday” and start living today.
Through personal stories, thought-provoking reflections, and guided journal prompts, you’ll learn how to:
- Turn self-doubt into clarity and courage
- Set boundaries that honor your energy and peace
- Celebrate your independence without apology
- Embrace singleness as a season of power, not lack
- Build a life that feels like yours, authentic, full, and free
Whether you’re navigating life on your own, healing from heartbreak, or simply longing to feel more connected to yourself, this book is your invitation to pull up a chair, take your seat, and savor the joy of becoming the person you were always meant to be.
